WWW Wednesday #55

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

It’s been a really slow reading week for me (but I’m done Christmas shopping!), so I’m still reading I’ll Be Damned by Casey Keen. It’s not bad, but I’ve just had a hard time getting into it. I’m at about 65% now, and it’s definitely getting better.

What did you recently finish?

After a great week last week, I haven’t finished anything.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m going to try to read Roomies by Tara Altebrando and Sara Zarr.

Leave me a link to your WWW in the comments, and I’ll be sure to check it out!

I’ll Be Damned has a great title and darling cover, at least! But at 65% in, I’d hope you’d be more entertained by it. I hope it ends well.

Oh, it’s not bad or boring or anything. I’ve just been having a short attention span this past week or so, so it’s been hard for me to get into it. The ending was pretty good, though! (I finally finished it, 6 hours after this posted! lol)

I hate abandoning a book, I have that ‘must reach the end’ mind set. But when a book only picks up after 65% of the way through, I may resent it slightly 😛

Congrats on getting all your Christmas Shopping done! A whole week early as well 😀

    Fancy checking out my WWW?

It actually had some really good parts. I don’t blame the book at all. I’ve just been having some issues with my attention span this past week. I went shopping, picked out and decorated a tree, watched some Christmas movies, played some Donkey Kong, took the kids to see Santa, and been falling asleep early almost every night. See my problem? lol

        Ah I see!
I’m having problems finding the motivation to finish the Litigators by John Grisham at the moment, and I blame the book. I’m over half way through and nothing is happening. I’m practically bored 😦
Picked up the Cuckoo’s Calling to spice up my reading life, but will have to go back and finish it soon.

Can’t say I blame you. I’ve read two John Grisham books. One was Skipping Christmas, and it was short, so it didn’t take me too long to read. The other took me forever, and I don’t think I’ll ever read another of his books!

I wish I could say otherwise because up until now I really enjoyed his books, but it has really put me off 😦

I finished it! I did so good the beginning of this month, and then I slacked. Not sure how great I’ll do the rest of the year either, though. Gotta wrap and stuff!

You are like me, a bunch one week, none the next. Hope you end up enjoying I’ll be Damned and that you get all your shopping and errands done soon! 🙂 Happy Reading and Happy Holidays!

I feel like I’m giving I’ll Be Damned a bad rap. It actually was pretty good with some higher-intensity scenes thrown in. I feel like I’ve just been in a weird mood the past week, so I didn’t make reading it a priority. Even Harry Potter has been grabbing me the way it usually does. Just one of those weeks, I htink.

I know those weeks! I usually have to reread something I KNOW I love or read some silly romance to get through them 🙂 Good luck!
