Description from Goodreads:
When the goddess Artemis goes missing, she is believed to have been kidnapped. And now it’s up to Percy and his friends to find out what happened. Who is powerful enough to kidnap a goddess? They must find Artemis before the winter solstice, when her influence on the Olympian Council could swing an important vote on the war with the titans. Not only that, but first Percy will have to solve the mystery of a rare monster that Artemis was hunting when she disappeared’a monster rumored to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus forever.
The Titan’s Curse is definitely one of the best books in the Percy Jackson series and far outstrips its predecessors. With the introduction of some new characters, both Artemis’ Hunters and a couple of new half-bloods, things are really changing. We also get to meet a couple new gods, and we learn that things aren’t always as they seem.
The quest between the Hunters and half-bloods to try to save Artemis (and Annabeth) is one of my favorites. The prophecy leading them on this quest is a scary one, and seeing it come true is even scarier, but it’s always done in a really exciting way! I had forgotten all but who and what the title referred to, so it really drew me in again!
I thought that the ending was great and definitely left a lot of open questions and tension for the next book. The Titan’s Curse is definitely a good read!
